Paramount readies new Blu-ray titles

face/off blu-rayParamount Pictures, who in the Fall of 2007 surprised high-def soothsayers with their announcement to go exclusive with former rival disc format HD DVD, is now getting set to release Blu-ray exclusive titles — this according a Reuters article published today.

The studio giant, who along with partner DreamWorks originally produced both Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, will be releasing new titles exclusively in Blu-ray starting next month.

The titles set to release are “Face/Off,” “Next” and “Bee Movie” on May 20. The next titles to follow will be “Cloverfield” and “There Will Be Blood” on June 3.
