The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has launched a full-time HD channel today, making its MPEG-2 high-definition feed available to cable, satellite, and other media companies. NASA announced they would be launching the channel last Friday.

NASA is celebrating 20 years of Hubble Space Telescope operations with a documentary airing today at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and 10 p.m. Eastern Time. The documentary is narrated by actor/writer Brent Spiner who is known for his role as Lt. Commander Data in Star Trek films and TV episodes.

Endeavour’s 13-day, STS-130 mission is scheduled for liftoff at 4:39 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7.
