PS3 upgrade rolls out
2.40 software update for Sony’s Playstation 3 is officially available. The upgrade enhances person-to-person gaming by adding the long awaited XrossMediaBar (XMB) which allows players to link to other each other and communicate. And, the addition of the Trophy system allows players to share their skills with other players.
The following games are slated for Trophies support, with more games to soon follow:
* BUZZ! Quiz TV
* LittleBigPlanet
* MotorStorm Pacific Rift
* NBA 09 - PS3
* PAIN
* PixelJunk Eden
* Resistance 2
* SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation
* Warhawk
The PS3 software update can be downloaded from the PlayStation Network directly to the console. Or, download the upgrade from the Playstation website to a computer and install from a flash drive.
