Fearnet dropped from Time Warner & Bright House

by Jeffrey Nukom on April 7, 2009

Fearnet has been dropped by both Time Warner Cable and Bright House, that according to an article from Home Media Magazine. The horror film-based VOD channel has featured films such as Wishmaster, The Evil Dead, Halloween, Friday the 13th and Saw on its free VOD service.

Fearnet was launched in 2006 by a joint partnership between Lionsgate, Comcast, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. There was no reason given for the termination, but it seems fans of the network are already writing letters to the two service providers to bring it back.
