Thank you for the article. I have been playing with my new Netgear RangeMax WNDR3700 Router and have had a great time with it. It is super fast and there is no lag. I highly recommend this router!

JasonB: There is a BlueTooth keyboard available from Sony for use with the PS3 Slim. It may work better than the onscreen virtual keyboard, but I have yet to review it. The PS3 may work with other Bluetooth enabled devices such as keyboards (and mice) from Logitech, etc. but you’d have to try them out or fish for other information online as I can’t vouch for using them myself.

Leroy: Yes… of course, because that’s a direct route to your internet service; however, you may want to upgrade your wireless setup if you have a weak signal or tweak the current settings of the wireless router you currently own. The PlayStation only acts as a receiver of WiFi signals, so you must boost your wireless signal if it’s not working as well as it should.

Can you get faster downloads by plugging in to ethernet? Sometimes my wireless has interference.

Everythings cool about the PS3 except that keyboard which is so ridiculous to type in. They need to find a solution for that. How about plugging in a keyboard to navigate?
