Epix HD to run action movie marathon this holiday weekend

epix_logo_smEpix channel, available through Verizon’s FiOS TV service, will run an action/adventure movie marathon this Thanksgiving, starting with the “The Indy 500: 500 Minutes of Indiana Jones,” and ending on Sunday with the world television premiere of “Cloverfield.”

“The Indy 500: 500 Minutes of Indiana Jones” will play all four of the Indiana Jones movies including “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

The action movie marathon, titled “Feast of Fury,” will continue throughout the weekend featuring movies such as “Iron Man,” “The Hunt for Red October,” “Flash Gordon,” “Casino Royale,” “Golden Eye,” “Red Dawn” and the “The Untouchables.”

A total of 21 movies will be played during the marathon which ends Sunday, Nov. 29. Epix channel is available with FiOS TV in both standard-definition (Ch. 395), high-definition (Ch. 895) and on-demand. Epix is a premium channel available for $9.99 per month.

    this costs $10 a month but can you get it with a package? I wouldn’t pay extra $10 for just one channel.

    I get their extreme package and dont get epix. I think you have to order it a la cart.
