World Fishing Network launched in hi-def on U-verse TV

wfn-hd-logo3 World Fishing Network (WFN) has launched in hi-def on AT&T’s U-verse TV service. The new HD network is available on U-verse channel 1679, and features 24-hour fishing programming including original shows, local stories, and news.

U-verse customers must have the U-verse TV HD Premiere to receive the channel. The IPTV service from AT&T currently offers 115 HD channels nationwide.

“Fishing is one of the most popular leisure activities in many of these areas, so we are delighted that AT&T recognizes WFN as the best option to satisfy this underserved community,” said Mark Rubinstein, President of WFN.

AT&T’s U-verse TV service is currently available in 22 states and recently reached its 2 millionth subscriber.

3 more channels added to FiOS TV online

Verizon’s FiOS TV online service is adding three more channels from Time Warner Inc., including Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and truTV. Content from these channels will be available online within 24-hours after the shows premiere on television. AT&T fighting for MSG HD, MSG Plus HD

U-verse gets Tennis Channel HD

AT&T’s U-verse TV service now offers Tennis Channel in standard and high-definition. The network, which launches in time for Wimbledon, can be found on channels 660 (standard-definition) and 1660 (high-definition) for customers with the AT&T U450 service package.
