LG Blu-ray player features NetCast, Wi-Fi and 250GB HD

LG’s newest top line Blu-ray player, the BD590, is the first to be built with an internal 250GB hard drive for storing digital files such as music, photos, and movies. The BD590 will also feature “MusicID-Stream” (from Gracenote), allowing users to get information about a song playing in a movie or TV show.
Other new Blu-ray players in the same line include the BD550 and BD570. The BD570 has the same features as the higher-end BD590 but without the hard drive.
All the new Blu-ray players from LG are built for On-Demand content, with NetCast providing access to Netflix, CinemaNow, VUDU, YouTube and services. Supported audio formats include Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Advanced Digital Out.
LG also announced a new line of Home Theater Systems with 3-channel wireless speakers powered by 1100 watts. The LG LHB975 supports Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio as well as iPod and iPhone connectivity. The LG LHB975 also features access to Netflix, VUDU, CinemaNow, YouTube, Pandora, Picasa and AccuWeather via wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Lower tier models include the LHB535 and LHB335 all with Netcast.
