Epix is launching widespread online viewing of content for Cox and Mediacom customers on EpixHD.com. The service provides Epix subscribers with a full lineup of movies via the website, including over 150 HD and SD movies per month. Epix signed its third distribution deal with Mediacom this week, and will begin service in April, 2010. The joint-venture between Viacom, MGM and Lionsgate which offers a premium lineup of movies also signed a deal with Cox Communications this week. Full Story
Cable TV provider Mediacom Communications added 25 HD channels to its lineup in Lake County, CA this week. Twenty of those channels were added to the HD Family Cable package at no extra cost, bringing the HD channel count for that tier to 28. Full Story
