The animated series, presented during Memorial Day weekend, celebrates the original release of Star Wars on Memorial Weekend in 1977.

Episodes from Star Wars Clone Wars Season Two include “Senate Spy”, “Landing at Point Rain,” “Weapons Factory,” “Legacy of Terror,” and “Brain Invaders.” You can run through the whole marathon in sequence or choose from each episode.

The Clone Wars marathon will be streaming for a limited time this Memorial Weekend until June 1st.

If you haven’t caught the original Star Wars films in widescreen HD yet, this is a great time to see them all in sequence.

Empire Strikes Back was released in 1980 and won an Oscar for Best Sound as well as received nominations for Best Art Direction/Set Direction and Best Music/Original Score. The film remains a favorite of Star Wars fans, many of whom consider “Empire” to be one of the greatest sequels of all time.

Spike will broadcast all three of the original Star Wars films on their network channels in both high-def and standard-def from 1:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. ET. Re-broadcasts of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back will start at 10:00 p.m. and run through 3:30 a.m.

Simultaneous with the television broadcast of The Empire Strikes Back at 4:00 p.m., Spike will also broadcast the film on MTV’s giant 44-1/2′ massive HD video screen in Times Square, New York City. The MTV big screen is located at the crossing of Seventh Ave and Broadway between 44th St. and 45th St.

In the premiere episode titled “Welcome to the War” Erica is attacked in her home, the Resistance recruits a dangerous new member, and Ryan’s concern over Val’s abnormal pregnancy grows. “V” will follow “LOST” at 10:00 p.m. ET (9:00 Central) and is available in 720p HD on ABC.

This a new time slot for ‘V’, which ranked highest in its hour among young adults (18-34) and men (18-49) during Nov. ‘09 – when it was pitted against shows like “NCIS” and “Biggest Loser.”

“V” stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack, Lourdes Benedicto as Valerie, Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans, Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, with Morena Baccarin as Anna and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker.

This Tuesday, Feb. 2, the first two episodes of the final season of Lost will premiere. The ABC show, which started in 2004, will continue the story of the fictional crash of Flight 815 and promises a shocking finale this year. “We felt that this was the only way to give Lost a proper creative conclusion,” said ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson.

Like Season 5, Season 6 was originally supposed to have 17 episodes. However, in June ‘09 it was announced the season would go to 18, ending with a three-hour, two part series in May, 2010. The first two episodes, “LA X (Parts 1 and 2),” will reveal the aftermath of the explosion of the hydrogen bomb which ended Season 5 .

Lost is broadcast in HD (720p) and SD (480i) on ABC in the US and HD (1080i) on Sky1 HD in the UK and Ireland.

However, the premiere pilot (to be presented with limited commercials) won’t exactly be debuting unseen, as it has already been available on Hulu, Syfy.com, and other on-demand outlets.

According to a Multichannel article, Syfy says 1.5 million people would have seen at least part of the 2-hour pilot. But that was just part of the marketing plan says Syfy. The network claims the pilot was meant to tease all 18 episodes of the show, and hopes are anyone who has already caught a glimpse would tune-in to watch the whole broadcast premiere on the network.

Caprica evolved out of the network’s much acclaimed Battlestar Galactica series which ended last year (after 4 seasons). The narrative takes place almost 60 years before Battlestar Galactica, before the Twelve Colonies of Man were united and before Cylon robots devastate humanity.

Caprica follows a conflict between two families — The Adamas and the Graystones, in a futuristic setting in which artificial intelligence is about to change everything. SyFy calls the show “television’s first science fiction family saga.” The series stars Eric Stoltz (Mask), Esai Morales (La Bamba), and Alessandra Torresani (Going to the Mat).

The one-hour season opener of the animated TV show starts Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. (Eastern/Pacific) on Cartoon Network, and will be broadcast in both standard and high-definition.

“Rise of the Bounty Hunters” is broken into two episodes starting with “The Holocron Heist” (Episode 1) and ending with “Cargo of Doom” (Episode 2).

The premiere season episodes feature the bounty hunter Cad Bane (who we saw in last season’s cliffhanger), and his crew of various mercenaries set upon wreaking havoc among the Republic.

Cad Bane is hired to acquire a Jedi holocron which contains the identities of children with the force. According to George Lucas, the Cad Bane character was influenced by gunslingers in Westerns, and that type of character has been influential to the Star Wars universe since the first theatrical film.

From the looks of the trailers the new season definitely appears to be much darker than the previous season, which according to USA Today had an audience of 3.3 million viewers. Check out one of the previews posted on YouTube below (be sure to click the HD button for higher quality):

Torchwood, Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead, Being Human and the season finale of Primeval (Season 3) are all scheduled for airing that week.

Torchwood: Children of Earth will begin the launch of BBC AMERICA HD, starting on July 20th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and continuing the story over 5 nights. The series re-joins Captain Jack, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones as they are still coming to terms with the death of two of their closest friends.

Primeval (Season 3) will conclude on Saturday, July 25th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.  As the embattled team continues to fight against unrelenting threats and creatures, Helen (Juliet Aubry) is attempting to stop the destruction of the Earth by traveling back in time to prevent humans from evolving.

Being Human, a BBC AMERICA co-production, will premiere in HD on Saturday July 25th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The show will look into the lives of three twenty-somethings and their secret double-lives – as a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost.

And, the first of the last four Doctor Who specials will premiere on Sunday, July 26th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead will feature David Tennant as the tenth Time Lord who must join forces with the mysterious Lady Christina when a London bus takes a detour into an alien world.

In the process, the Jedi’s discover that the Sith Lord has already been captured by pirates.

For those of you who missed any episodes of the “The Clone Wars” this season, you’ll be able to see them re-broadcast on Cartoon Network from Dec. 22 through Dec. 31.

Spike TV will begin the HD broadcast of the “Star Wars” tonight with “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace” at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The network will be showing the six-part “Star Wars” series in its entirety, in high definition, along with encore presentations usually the following day. The series will end on April 13th with “Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi”.

The network will be hosting what Spike TV calls “the world broadcast premiere” of “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith”, and “cable premieres” of “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace” and “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones”. Spike TV, currently the exclusive network for the “Star Wars” series, will also be broadcasting footage from LucasFilms that has never been seen before on basic cable.
