Amazon to challenge Netflix streaming movies

According to The Wall Street Journal retail giant Amazon.com may challenge the Netflix streaming product with a service of their own. Apparently the company has been in talks with NBC, Time Warner, News Corp. and Viacom to get content distribution rights to TV shows and film titles. If things fall into place, Amazon hopes to get the service launched this holiday season. Full Story
For a limited time (3 days only), Amazon is discounting digital downloads of the three Matrix movies. The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions will be available on Aug. 3, Aug. 4, and Aug. 5, respectively at a discounted price. The single titles normally cost between $6.99 and $9.99 for digital purchase. 
, Xbox Live and the Sony PlayStation Network. The series uses real time computer animation from the “Terminator Salvation” videogame as a platform for the original story written by Andy Shapiro.
