Comcast, MGM launches VOD action channel

Cable television provider will be rolling out a new action based channel with studio this week, The Associated Press reports. Verizon VOD expands HD offers

verizon fios logoStandard definition movies from Verizon are usually $4.99, but I watched “Into the Wild” the other night in HD for $5.99. The extra dollar for high definition seems worth it, since that is what you would pay to rent a or HD DVD at a video store. Minus the cost of gas to get to the store, you might actually be saving some money by using video-on-demand.
