MGS4 hits number one in Japan

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, sold 464,926 copies in Japan during the first week of release. The game went on sale on June 12, and stayed at the top of the software charts. New Yealand announced yesterday their first channel offerings. Branded My Sky HDi, the new service will launch with Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Movies and Sky Movies Greats. The television service provider will also be providing 2010 & 2012 Olympics coverage. Full Story »

Smithsonian HD expands in Canada

Hallmark Channel to go HD

hallmark channelIn a press release yesterday, Crown Media Holdings announced they will be launching the Hallmark Movie Channel in , along with a renewal of their distribution agreement with Time Warner Cable.

Crown Media Holdings, which owns the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, will continue to be broadcast into 12 million homes through Time Warner’s distribution. The agreement includes both standard and high definition versions.
