Apple customer gets iPhone 4 early

Here’s a video from an Apple customer who says they got their iPhone 4 two days early. UPS mistake? Delivered to early to be activated anyway? Well apparently Apple has already activated their servers and the new iPhone is ready to rock in anticipation of the actual release on June 24. TMC won’t say free HD anymore

dont-be-ed-330x186Time Warner Cable will no longer market their HD services as “free” according to a company statement which followed a Better Business Bureaus recommendation. Multichannel reported yesterday The National Advertising Division found TMC had been using the term “free” for about two years when the price of HD service had actually become embedded in the price of its regular service. Therefore, it shouldn’t be called free. Full Story

Video On Demand equals Conundrum on Demand

Can DISH take any more beatings?

DISH Network suffered a 14-percent drop in shares this morning, after marketing partner AT&T decided it would end their contract next year in favor of rival satellite television provider DirecTV. On January 3, AT&T will start a multi-year agreement with DirecTV. Full Story

AT&T U-verse adds 4 HD channels

AT&T added 4 new HD (high-definition) channels to its U-verse service. Customers who subscribe to the U-400 package will now have access to at least 46 HD channels. The added channels include: USA Networks HD, Sci Fi Channel HD, Bravo HD, and CNBC HD.
