Comcast has added Telefutura HD and Univision HD to their high-definition channel lineup in Washington D.C. markets. The additions arrive in anticipation of the upcoming FIFA World Cup matches from South Africa. Univision HD and Telefutura HD channel have been added to Cablevision’s free iO TV high-definition lineup today. According to the company, the Spanish-language channels have been added to all markets, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and parts of Pennsylvania. Full Story

In preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Comcast has added three Spanish-language networks in high-definition. Univision HD, TeleFutura HD and Telemundo HD will all be part of the Limited Basic HD lineup for Comcast customers in the San Francisco area. Full Story
