by Jeffrey Nukom on July 19, 2008

AT&T launched it’s U-verse broadband service in Miami Valley this week. The triple service offering will give customers the integrated services of AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice. HDTV owners will have access to the 40 high-definition (HD) channels the company offers.

AT&T’s 100-percent IPTV service serving 40 HD channels is now available in the following areas: Beavercreek, Butler Township, Centerville, Clayton, Dayton, Fairborn, Huber Heights, Kettering, Mad River Township, Miami Township, Miamisburg, Moraine, Northridge, Oakwood, Riverside, Springfield, Springfield Township, Vandalia, Washington Township, West Carrollton and Woodbourne-Hyde Park.

High definition service is usually an extra $10 a month with any U-verse television package. The U-verse package comes with an HD-capable receiver which is both 1080i and 720p compatible.

With the launch of AT&T U-verse TV, Miami Valley customers are finally getting a better choice to break free from cable,” said Amanda Harris, AT&T general manager for Ohio.
