‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’ on Blu-ray Dec. 16

The third chapter of the ‘The Mummy’ is coming to Blu-ray Disc. The epic action film loaded with special effects and cinematic pyrotechnics is certain to be visually stunning in high-definition. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will also be available as a standard single disc DVD, two-disc Deluxe Edition DVD and a two-disc Blu-ray edition. The Blu-ray features extra hours of bonus material including behind-the-scenes footage, outtakes and deleted scenes. A digital copy is also included.
The cast of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor includes Brendan Fraser (Journey to the Center of the Earth), Jet Li (The Forbidden Kingdom), Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Maria Bello (Thank You For Smoking) and John Hannah (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns.) The film comes from Universal Pictures and was directed by Rob Cohen (XXX: State of the Union, The Last Ride.)

The Blu-ray only release will feature U Control, Know Your Mummy (revealing facts about the other films), Scene Explorer, Picture-in-Picture, a interactive game called “The Dragon Emperor’s Challenge,” and visual commentary with director Rob Cohen.
