Cox adds 21 HD channels in Hampton, VA
on May 23, 2009
Cox added 21 high-definition channels to its lineup in Hampton, Virginia. Cox subscribers will now get a total of 56 HD channels at no additional charge. The new channels are also available in the Fort Monroe area. Later this year, James City County, York County and other areas on the Peninsula will also receive the additional channels.
The additional 21 HD channels also are available to customers in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Gloucester, Poquoson, parts of Williamsburg, Newport News, West Point, New Kent, and King and Queen County.

Where are these new channels?
As of 5/26.09 I still dont have them and I live in Hampton Va.

I too live in the hampton, va area and have not gotten these channels yet, it shows lifetime HD that is always temp unavail.
I would call them. They may not have made it to the area yet. Sometimes they jump the gun when announcing.

just saw a cox commercial that on 6/20 more HD is coming so maybe thats when we’ll see a difference…
