HDNet covering MazdaSpeed in HD

by Jeffrey Nukom on June 13, 2009

HDNet is covering the MazdaSpeed races this weekend and in July, all in high-definition. The coverage begins today (July 13)  at 1 p.m. ET with Mazda Formula X at the New Jersey Motorsports Park, and will continue tomorrow (July 14) at the same time.

From July 25-26, HDNet will cover the Autobahn Grand Prix presented by Mazda at the Autobahn Country Club.

The broadcasts will run for 3 hours (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET) with Rick Benjamin and legendary race-driver Elliott Forbes Robinson providing the commentary.

Our partnership with HDNet will allow us to more closely share the on-track experience with fans around the country by giving them a three-race afternoon, and the quality of the programming and high-definition transmission means it’s nearly as good as being trackside,” said Mike Nakashima, Director of Marketing, Mazda North American Operations.
