Amazon begins Buy 2, Get 1 Free, Blu-ray sale

by Jeb Stuart on August 11, 2009

Amazon is looking to move some Blu-ray Disc inventory with a 10-day “Buy Two, Get One Free” sale. The promotion consists of 340 titles from their Blu-ray store including recent films “Taken (2009),” “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009),” “Valkyrie (2008),” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009).”

You can select movies from several genres including Action, Comedy, Drama, Family, Sci-Fi. An additional section called “Other” lists Documentary, Travel and Special Interest titles.

A few classics from the 60’s make the list including “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), “The Graduate (1967),” and “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969).”

James Bond tiles are also included in the promotion so if you don’t already own the Bond Collection on Blu-ray you can pick up 3 for the price of 2 and start building your library.

To see the deducted price of one film you need to add them all to cart and get through the shipping stage. At that point you will see the promotion applied in the Order Summary.

The Amazon “Buy Two, Get One Free” sale runs until Aug. 21.
