Cox adds NBC to HD on-demand lineup

by Jeff Chabot on November 12, 2009

nbc-logo-300x300Cable network Cox Communications added NBC content to their HD on-demand library, giving subscribers access to shows such as The Office, 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. The content is part of their MyPrimetime lineup of shows, (found on Channel 1), available in high-definition the day after they premiere.

Other NBC shows added include Parks and Recreation, Community, Mercy and Heroes. The Cox video-on-demand library now offers primetime content from ABC, NBC, TBS, TNT, Disney and other networks totaling over 20.

Cox’s video-on-demand service is available to most subscribers. However, if the service isn’t available in your area yet you can expect a launch early in ‘10.
