Rogers adds HD channels in Canada

Rogers Communications added 13 new high-definition channels in Canada, increasing their lead in offering the HD channels among competing service providers. The company says they now offer over 100 HD channels and hours of video on demand content, amounting to 4x as many choices as Canadian satellite offers.

The new channels will be available in the Ontario 860MHz areas include:

• TCM – Turner Classic Movies HD
• KTLA HD
• WPIX HD
• WSBK HD
• MEXCESS HD
• MFUN! HD
• CBS COLLEGE SPORTS HD
• WOW HD
• TV5 HD
• TFO HD
• Fireplace HD
