by Jeff Chabot on December 8, 2009

cox_logo_137x137Cox Communications now offers subscribers NBC programming On Demand, which can be found in the MyPrimetime video-on-demand library. TV shows such as Heroes, The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Mercy, Community, and Saturday Night Live are now available to subscribers the day after they premiere on NBC.

Cox customers can get the NBC shows by going to the On Demand guide on Channel 1 and selecting the MyPrimetime category. MyPrimetime also carries programming from ABC, USA, AMC, TBS, TNT, Disney and Comedy Central. The content is offered free to customers with HD service.

“MyPrimetime gives our customers anytime access to some of the season’s hottest programming in crystal clear HD, whenever they want it,” said Chris Pantoya, Cox Vice President of Marketing. “Plus, the addition of Saturday Night Live to the MyPrimetime lineup ensures customers don’t miss any of the “water cooler” moments for which that show has become so famous.”

Cox says their service is available in most of their market areas, with the remaining markets to receive the upgrades early next year.
