Cox adds new HD channels in Virginia

Cox has added some new HD channels in its Virginia markets today, including the launch of Epix HD and Vutopia across all markets. In addition to those two channels Cox launched two new HD channels in Roanoke and Hampton Roads and three new HD channels in Northern Virginia.

In Roanoke and Hampton Roads they added Hallmark HD and Disney XD HD. In Northern Virginia they launched NBA TV HD, ESPN U HD, and ESPN News HD.

Here is a breakdown of the new Cox HD channels:

Epix HD
Hampton Roads – channel 785
Roanoke – channel 774
Northern Virginia – channel 786

Hallmark HD
Roanoke – channel 717
Hampton Roads – channel 726

Disney XD HD
Roanoke – channel 738
Hampton Roads – channel 726

Northern Virginia:
NBA TV HD – channel 780
ESPN U HD – channel 781
ESPN News HD – channel 782

All markets:
Vutopia – On Demand Ch. 1
